Why Battle of the Balls?
A unique sporting event that brings out our celebrity team together to help raise funds for charity.
Our mission is to make a positive impact by combining the thrill of sports with the power of giving back to those in need.
Professional sports can take a heavy toll on the body after a number of years playing at the highest levels, but retirement doesn’t mean the players have any less heart when it comes to wanting to win.
Sportsmen, during their downtime, enjoy playing a number of alternative sports to their chosen profession including golf, football, cricket, and rugby to mention just a few. An idea was formed which was to become the Battle of the Balls squad play against other teams made of similar ex-professional players but the twist is they play on their home turf and at their own sport too.
Months later we are at the start of our next journey with the squad as they take on this latest challenge.

How does Battle of the Balls raise money for Charitable Causes?
One of the great things about the Battle of the Balls is that it brings together celebrities who might not otherwise work together. This event is an opportunity for actors, athletes, and musicians to collaborate and share their talents for a common cause. It’s also a chance for fans to see their favorite celebrities in a different light, as they compete on the court or field rather than performing on stage or screen.
The event also draws a large crowd, with fans coming from all over to watch their favorite celebrities in action. The atmosphere is electric, with cheering, chanting, and high-fives being exchanged throughout the day. It’s a great opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy a day of sports, entertainment, and giving back to the community.
All proceeds raised from the events go directly to support Rugby for Heroes
